For many years, Hitex has been a leading supplier of embedded systems. In addition, Hitex supports customers on a consulting basis in all phases of their development projects, from concept to system realization.

Hitex was established in 1976 as a systems house that achieved considerable success in providing in-circuit emulators. In 1997 Hitex acquired Kontron Elektronik’s development tools division, which made the company the leading supplier of debug tools. Since the beginning of 2003, Hitex has belonged to Infineon Technologies AG. This connection guarantees Hitex a solid and secure future and yet allows the maintenance and extension its existing partnerships with other semiconductor manufacturers, as an independent company.

Headquartered in Karlsruhe in southern Germany, Hitex’s international subsidiaries and distribution offices (like Hitex UK) can be found in all important other countries.
